Where to watch the 2026 NBA Draft first round

4

The lottery wheel stopped. Washington got the ball. Everyone knows AJ Dybantsa goes number one. The Utah Jazz take Darryn Peterson at two. Memphis grabs Cameron Boozer at three. Chicago’s fourth. All freshmen. The rest is a scramble.

Keaton Wagler. Mikel Brown Jr. Darius Acuff Jr. The point guards fighting for spots five, six and seven. It’s loud. It’s chaotic. It’s tonight at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. The second round drags out tomorrow. If you aren’t in Brooklyn, you still need the pick. Here’s how you watch.

When it happens

Barclays Center. New York. Tuesday, June 23 for the first round. Wednesday, June 24 for the rest. First round kicks off 8 p.m. ET. Second round same time next night. Don’t be late. The good ones disappear fast.

TV options in the US

You have cable? Tune to ABC for the night. ESPN picks up the second day. Done.

Cut the cord? You need a streaming bundle that carries ESPN. YouTube TV, Fubo, or Sling Orange works. The price varies but it’s usually around fifty bucks. ESPN+ exists, don’t get it wrong. It shows Hoop Stream. It shows reactions from Vanessa Richardson and Iman Shampert. It does not show the draft broadcast. You want the draft, you need a live TV pass.

Old school move works too. An indoor antenna under $30 picks up ABC if the signal is good enough. Plug it in. Point it out the window. Boom. Free TV.

Watching from outside the US

Blackouts happen. ISPs throttle speed. It’s annoying. A VPN fixes it. Or at least it masks your location so the blackout zones don’t stick to you. Legal where you are. Just don’t lie to the streaming service if they ask. Use ExpressVPN if you want the easy route. Set it up. Connect. Watch.

UK fans get it on Sky Sports. Starts Wednesday 1 a.m. local time. Now Sports streams it.

Canada gets TSN4. Tuesday at 8 p.m. Eastern. Simple.

Australia watches via Kayo Sports. ESPN feed. Starts Wednesday morning 10 a.m. Your time zones will fight you. Do the math.

Why stream if the live thing feels so much better?

Because you can watch on your phone while you sleep. Or work. Or drink coffee. The pick still lands the same. Just from a different angle.

A good stream beats a missed pick. Always.
